Workity Work

Worst blogger ever. I know I know.

Update:

I got hired at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center as a Psych Tech in the ER, and you can bet your bottom dollar I am thrilled as can be! I happy really to just be on at the hospital at all. I love the atmosphere, I love being a part of the patients and their healing, and I love forming relationships with people at some of their most vulnerable times. I guess you can basically say I was made to be in the medical field.

Anyway, for my job I get to go into the ER when the "psych" patients come in and sit with them one on one to make sure they don't hurt themselves or others, pull out their chords, etc. etc. So far its been pretty interesting and while i'm sure it's not the position I want to be in forever, I am quite enjoying it for now.

Boys, Boys, Boys

There are five kids in my family. One boy and four girls.
I'm sure that at times while growing up the estrogen levels may have been so high that they nearly killed my dad and brother...they somehow managed to survive.
I am convinced that my dad prayed so hard back in the day for boys, that now his prayers are finally being answered.
The family that was once ran by the ladies is now being taken over by boys.

We were lucky enough to have Sasha join the family when my brother married her, helping the girl population out a bit...still we are no match for the boys.

Two of my sisters are married giving me two more wonderful brothers.

And then there are these four......
Apparantly my siblings only know how to make boy babies.
At least they are good at it though right? They are some good looking kids and I love them to death.

As much as I love my boys....i'm crossing my fingers that someday someone will figure out how to make a girl.

Until then you can find me kissing these little hooligans faces off every chance I get.

It's love.

It's love...that's all there is to it.

I adore him too much.
Last night I stayed at Jason and Sasha's house to help with the baby. I seriously loved it. I fed him, changed him and snuggled him in between feedings allowing Sash to get some much needed sleep. I had so much fun hanging out with them, and after I left this morning Sash sent me this little gem.

I don't think he could be any more precious.

To all you married couples out there....please have all the babies you want and call auntie Cierra to babysit. That would be much appreciated.

Newest Addition

Thursday I had a 3 hour job interview at the hospital. SO long. On my way out I saw my sister-in-law Sasha who was 9 months pregnant and I asked her what the heck she was doing there! She told me that she had been bleeding and so the doctor wanted to deliver her baby that day (two weeks early). I was so crazy excited I can't even explain. The older I get the more I love babies...so I was really excited for this one.

I had to run home and see a patient and change out my interview clothes so I could come back to the hospital and camp out until the baby came. And that's exactly what I did. We went back to the hospital and hung out until it was baby time.

McCoy Marshall Hansen was born around 6:40.
Nephews-4 Nieces-0
He is seriously the sweetest and I already adore him.

My phone is full of pictures of this sweet little boy.
Welcome to the family McCoy!

Birthday Festivities!

My birthday was on April 7th, and can I just say I have the greatest friends?
Well I do!
At midnight Steph blindfolded me and took me on a drive until I had NO idea where we were. When we finally got out of the car we walked inside somewhere and I could not figure out where it was!
Once she took off the blindfold a bunch of my close friends started singing happy birthday. They even had a cake with candles! It was so sweet of them! We all stayed and chatted for a bit, and then went home to get some sleep.

After I slept in, I went to lunch with  my parents. They took me to one of my favorites...Red Lobster. After my delicious lunch, my Mom took me to the mall to pick out a new shirt for the night. My parents are the greatest:)

That night Steph picked me up at 6:30 and we met at Palomas. We then ventured down to Wingers where some of my closest friends were waiting with balloons! We had a yummy dinner and then went back to Carolines to play games and watch a movie!

I am so grateful for my thoughtful friends!!

I have completely been lacking on the whole picture taking thing lately....but here is one that Teal managed to capture!!:)

I Really Hate Goodbyes...

This weekend I had to say goodbye to one of my best friends...
Miss Samantha Brooke Warner.
She moved to San Fransisco on Saturday to nanny for a year a half.

We had a perfect last week together, and I saw her pretty much everyday. We did so many fun activities that maybe I will blog about later.

As for now now I just want everyone to know how much I love my Sammy girl.
Over the last year we have grown to be so close. We've been through lots together and I can honestly say she is one of the strongest people that I know.
She is my go-to girl when I need ANYTHING. She's the best at giving pep talks and helping me in all sorts of ways. Going on long drives with her and just jamming out is one of the greatest things ever. I am definitely better because of her. She has a light about her that everyone can see, and she never ceases to amaze me. Words can't tell you how much I will miss her, but this is going to be such a good experience and I am so excited for her!....I love you so much Sam, you are the best!!

 Bowling night!

At her going away party

We just love her

Saying goodbye....SO sad:(

The dreadful.

If you were wondering if I hate job hunting....

I DO.

Took my resume into a million (really like 5) places today. Most of which weren't even hiring, but I left it with them anyway.
I plan on doing the same exact thing tomorrow hoping that someday someone, at one of the billions of places I go, will hire me.

Please someone put me out of my misery.
